I am an Egyptian economist with extensive experience working in academia and international organizations. For numerous years, I taught economics, and my research appeared in prominent peer-reviewed journals, including Energy Economics and Applied Economics. I have served as a consultant for several organizations, including the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Cambridge University Assessment. I founded The Economic Society, a not-for-profit volunteer-based network, among other endeavors. Football and table tennis are two of my favorite sports. Back in the day, I was a professional football player.
